Franklin & Marshall College students and alumni are encouraged to bring their résumés and 30-second hire-me pitch to the College's 2014 Job & Internship Fair on March 4, where 60 businesses and organizations will be on hand, looking to offer full- and part-time jobs, internships, and volunteer opportunities.

Representatives of national, regional and local organizations, including the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, Hershey Entertainment & Resorts, and Auntie Anne's, will be available between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. in the Alumni Sports and Fitness Center (ASFC).  The complete list of employers visiting campus is available online.

"This is a great opportunity for our F&M community to connect with some amazing organizations," said Joe Gebbie , the College's director of employer partnerships who co-organized the event with Matthew Thomas, program coordinator in F&M's Office of Student & Post-Graduate Development.

Gebbie and Thomas said they encourage students and alumni to review the list of employers and learn a little about the ones they are interested in talking to before arriving at the event.

"Show that you already know something about the company or organization you're interested in," Thomas said. "It makes you a more attractive candidate."
