Dan oversees the environmental health, safety and risk management department.

The goal of the environmental health, safety and risk management department is to provide support to offices across the campus in understanding and minimizing risks related to their activities and to protect the College's resources.  

Dan works to develop a culture of collaboration, proactive solutions and approaches to managing risks and fostering a culture of compliance.

His responsibilities include management and oversight of the following:

  • The property & casualty insurance portfolio for the College.
  • Institutional risk management.
  • Environmental health and safety programs and initiatives.
  • Fire prevention & protection programs.      

Dan also serves on the Board of Trustees for the University & College Insurance Consortium (UCIC) representing Franklin & Marshall College.
