Jennifer L NellDirector of Student Success
Jen Nell has a background in student development theory and pastoral care and counseling. She holds degrees from Villanova University and Azusa Pacific University. With over twenty years of experience in college student affairs, including thirteen years in Residence Life, Jen is dedicated to fostering holistic student growth and community development.
In her role within Student Success, Jen oversees a range of responsibilities designed to support students’ academic progress, personal well-being, and overall persistence at the College. This includes academic advising and outreach, early intervention for students experiencing challenges, and coordination of support resources such as tutoring, counseling, and accessibility services. Jen works closely with faculty and staff to monitor student progress, provide guidance on academic recovery or leaves, and foster a sense of belonging and engagement within the campus community. Her goal is to help each student navigate challenges, build confidence, and thrive both in and out of the classroom.
