Stefanie I Kasparek Research Associate of Government

Biography:

Professor Kasparek’s research focuses primarily on international organizations and decision-making processes, with particular interest in how state actors strategically advance their interests through the use of formal and informal governance procedures. Currently, her research concentrates on the United Nations Security Council and how the organization selects issues it is willing to discuss and promote on the world’s stage. She teaches international organizations, issues of war and peace, international relations, and research methods.

Education:

Prof. Kasparek earned an AMD in International Relations from Temple University, a Certificate in Teaching in Higher Education, an M.A., in Political Science from Temple University and a Master of International Studies, Political Science and International Law from Eberhard Karls University.
