Now Available: Summer 2025 Experience Funds

Each year, the Career Center awards thousands of dollars in donor-funded stipends to students completing unpaid (and in some cases, minimally paid) internships over the summer, via a competitive application process. First-year through junior students may apply for this year’s funding cycle by Friday, Feb. 21, with or without a summer position already secured.

Funding details and applications are now available in Handshake (accessible by your student) for the following:

  • General F&M Summer Experience Funds (all industry interests)
  • Schapiro-Cadwell Internship Endowment (sustainability & the environment)
  • Pre-Health Summer Experience Funds (pre-health students)
  • Public Service Summer Experience Funds (government, nonprofits relating to government and/or giving back to a community or society)

Your student should direct any questions about Summer Experience Funding to the Career Center’s Ashley Fry at afry@fandm.edu. If they have not applied but plan to, please remind them the deadline is Friday, Feb. 21.
