The College Entertainment Committee (CEC)
The College Entertainment Committee (CEC) plans fun, inclusive events that everyone on campus can enjoy. They host events almost every weekend, such as trivia, karaoke, bingo, dodgeball, off-campus activities, and so much more. They host several signature events throughout the year, including the long standing F&M tradition, Spring Arts, an annual concert featuring both student talent and national touring acts.
Club Affairs Board
Club Affairs Board is a student-run governing body that oversees and advocates for student organizations on campus, and ensures that student organizations have the tools they require for success.
Student Activities & Finance Committee
The mission of the Student Activities and Finance Committee (SAFC) is to effectively create a funding system that allows for the equitable and appropriate allocation of funds from the annual student activities fee for student organizations.
Diplomatic Congress (DipCon)
As the central student government of F&M, the Diplomatic Congress (DipCon) unites student leaders from all facets of the community with the common purpose of promoting a diverse and engaging campus culture and improving all aspects of the student experience. To this end, Congress:
- Coordinates student participation in the shared governance of the College
- Oversees the activities of and facilitates collaboration between various student governing bodies
- Advocates on behalf of the student body on all critical matters facing the college
Ben's Underground
Located below F&M's Dining Hall, Ben's Underground is a late-night programming space, open Wednesdays through Saturdays until midnight. The facility features games including pool, foosball, air hockey, magnetic darts, a Nintendo Switch, as well as a number of board games. Live music and karaoke are also regular events.
Fraternity & Sorority Life at F&M
Since the first fraternity was established on campus in 1854, F&M's fraternities and sororities have been part of our community, offering interested students additional opportunities for intellectual advancement, leader development, responsible citizenship and community building.
