Welcome to F&M! Fall Open House is designed for you to get to know our campus and meet our faculty and students. The programming is set up with your flexibility in mind. We also included a couple suggestions for activities in Lancaster if you would like to see more of our welcoming city.

8:45-9:45 a.m. | Early Bird Tour

Currently full, but feel free to hop on a tour at 11, 12 or 1

Take a campus tour with one of our amazing student tour guides! Coffee and light fare are available before and after the tour. Please arrive by 8:40 to check in.

9:15-9:45 a.m. | Check-in and Same Day Registration

Coffee and light fare available. We will lead you to the Barshinger Center for Musical Arts at 9:45 for the first event of the day.

Meet our President, Barbara K. Altmann, and our Vice President for Enrollment Management, M. Leslie Davidson, who will talk about our prestigious academic programs and our commitment to community and belonging.

An informative session with a faculty and student panel.  

F&M’s location adds a critical dimension to your college experience. Our faculty and students discuss how we engage with the city and enhance the student experience through relationships with businesses, government and nonprofits.

C) Financial Aid at F&M

Our Director of Financial Aid, Eric Kopp, will review our robust merit and need-based aid programs, the components of our financial aid application, and how we are able to provide timely financial aid estimates despite the evolution of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

D) Lunch in the Dining Hall

Experience the many dietary options available to you while getting to know current students, who will sit down and dine and chat with you and your families.

11:30-1:30 p.m. | Drop-in Sessions

The following open-house events are being held concurrently at various locations on campus. This is a great chance to meet our faculty, and visit some of our favorite academic and social spaces. Stop by one or more of these and stay as long as you wish.

Most of our academic departments are open for questions today, as well. Our professors look forward to talking with you about the curriculum, student and faculty research, and postgraduate and career paths available to you based on majors and minors.

B) Info Session I: Holistic Student Support at The Hub

Join us in our distinctive Hub in the center of campus to learn more about our many support programs for students. We believe success in college is optimally attainable when your whole person — academic, personal, emotional, and physical — is engaged.

C) Info Session II: Study Abroad and iF&M

Discover how we support and encourage our students who choose to study abroad. Also, learn more about iF&M, our first-year, first-semester international experience in the World Heritage City of Bath, England, reserved for 12 of our very best applicants. Past iF&M students and faculty will share their experiences and answer your questions about the program.  

If you have additional questions about study abroad at F&M, feel free to drop by the Joseph International Center Open House from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
