Ways to Volunteer
Reunion Partners
New for this year, our Reunion Partners replace the former Reunion Committee structure. With this restructured group, we will have one single committee consisting of members of all classes celebrating their reunion this year. This single committee takes the pressure off individual committees and will allow for increased information sharing, interaction among alumni, and collaboration with all reunion classes.
If you want to connect with our Reunion Partners, please contact Amy Layman, associate vice president of external engagement, at amy.layman@fandm.edu.
Franklin & Marshall Admission Network (FAN)
Join the Franklin & Marshall Admission Network (FAN) and serve as an ambassador for the College, build community among past, present and future students and parents of F&M and promote the benefits of an F&M education to prospective students and their parents (no matter where you live).

Leadership Council
Member Responsibilities
Leadership Council typically holds one-day meetings on campus in the spring and in the fall, in addition to occasional regional meetings throughout the year.
We may also ask members to undertake ad hoc assignments related to their areas of expertise or to host special events in their communities.
Members of Leadership Council include Franklin & Marshall among their most important philanthropic interests during their period of service. Members should be willing to support the Franklin & Marshall Fund at a leadership level of $5,000 or more per year and to invest at some level in at least one of our current fundraising priorities. We are grateful for the loyalty and leadership demonstrated by our council members.
If you would like to learn more about F&M's Leadership Council, contact Director of Major Gifts Kristen Krista, kkrista@fandm.edu.
Key Diplomats
As alumni and parent representatives, Key Diplomats reach out to other alumni and parents to promote team events, coordinate tailgates and other community activities, liaise with the Diplomatic Athletic Club (DAC), work with coaches to provide meaningful experiences for F&M's student-athletes and raise awareness and financial support from alumni, parents and friends.
Each athletic program is served by at least two alumni representatives and parent representatives. Key Diplomats convene once a year to share best practices and learn about athletic initiatives.
If you are interested in participating in the Key Diplomat program, contact Director of Athletic Advancement Katie Crowe Wood at 717-358-4834 or katie.wood.@fandm.edu.Share an Opportunity with Diplomats
Parents Council
Member Responsibilities
Parents Council traditionally holds one-day meetings on campus in the fall (typically during True Blue Weekend) and spring (usually in April). We ask that members make every effort to attend the on-campus meetings.
These biannual meetings take shape around an agenda that includes administrative updates, conversation with President Altmann, presentations from faculty, students, coaches and campus leaders, dialogue around key issues on campus and time to visit socially with fellow council members. Robust attendance and active participation enhance the experience for all council members and help to ensure the College can benefit from the collective insight of the entire council.
In addition, council members may be asked to undertake ad hoc assignments related to their areas of expertise or connections they may have with key potential partners.
We further ask that members of Parents Council demonstrate philanthropic leadership by including Franklin & Marshall among their most important charitable priorities during their period of service. Members should be willing to support the Franklin & Marshall Fund at a leadership level annually and to consider investing at some level in at least one of our current priorities. We are grateful for the dedication and leadership demonstrated by our council members.
If you are interested in joining the Parents Council, contact Director of Parent and Athletic Advancement Katie Crowe Wood at 717-358-4834 or katie.wood@fandm.edu.
Day of Giving Ambassadors
We know our volunteers' time is valuable. We ask only that you plan to attend one informational meeting in advance of Day of Giving, and then give of your time DURING Day of Giving whenever it works within your schedule. The time you spend does make a difference! Your outreach and/or social media posts expand the College’s reach exponentially.
If you are interested in helping and making an impact on F&M, please contact Amy Layman, associate vice president of external engagement, at amy.layman@fandm.edu.
